St Helens defeated Catalans Dragons 34-18 in a Betfred Super League match at BrewDog Stadium on 17 July 2026, The BBC reported. Jack Campbell, an 18-year-old making his debut on the wing, scored two tries in the second half. He had been added to the side that morning after Nene Macdonald was ruled out by injury.

St Helens trailed 12-6 at half-time after tries from Charlie Staines and Nick Cotric for Catalans and one from Jed Cartwright for the home side. Saints scored three tries in the first eight minutes after the interval through Campbell, Harry Robertson and Jack Welsby. Campbell added a second try on the hour mark and Robertson scored again late in the game.

The result lifted St Helens to fifth in the table, six points behind leaders Leeds Rhinos. Catalans suffered their fourth straight defeat and remain eighth after their 11th loss of the season. St Helens had lost 46-0 to Toulouse the previous week.
