Standard Chartered Maintains Ethereum Price Targets of $4,000 by End-2026

Standard Chartered analyst Geoff Kendrick said Ethereum's price decline since August 2025 is temporary. The bank kept its $4,000 target for the end of 2026 and $40,000 target for the end of 2030.

Standard Chartered analyst Geoff Kendrick said the gap between Ethereum's price performance and its fundamentals is temporary. Ethereum has dropped 57 percent to roughly $2,100 since August 2025, and the ETH/BTC ratio has fallen 37 percent over the same period.

Transactions and total value locked on Ethereum remain near record levels. The bank compared the current situation to Amazon shares during the 2001 dot-com crash.
