Standing Together Activists Launch New Party for October Knesset Election

jta.orgActivists from the Jewish-Arab grassroots movement Standing Together have founded a political party named A Place for Us All, or Makom Lekulanu, ahead of Israel's October election. The party's two top candidates for Knesset will be Alon-Lee Green and Rula Daood, co-founders of Standing Together. Both will head the new party list.
A Place for Us All pledges equal representation for Jews and Arabs and for men and women. The party aims to mobilize voters who would otherwise abstain. Haaretz reported the founding at 01:24 AM IDT on June 16, 2026.
