Stewart Cink Takes One-Shot Lead Into Final Round of U.S. Senior Open

Stewart Cink shot a 6-under-par 64 in the third round to take a one-shot lead into the final round of the 2026 U.S. Senior Open at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio. Cink stands at 9-under-par 201 after 54 holes.
He made an eagle on a par-5 hole and added birdies on holes 9, 12 and 17 while playing bogey-free. Padraig Harrington shot 66 and sits at 8-under 202. He made a bogey on hole 4 but recorded five birdies in a six-hole stretch.
George McNeill is two shots back after a 69. Miguel Angel Jimenez is three shots behind the leader. Cink, 53, has won four of his nine PGA Tour Champions starts this year, including the Senior PGA Championship and The Tradition.
Harrington won the 2025 U.S. Senior Open by one shot over Cink at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is seeking to become the first repeat champion since Allen Doyle in 2006. "I hit a lot more high-quality shots today for sure," Cink said.
