Strictly Come Dancing Confirms 2025 Professional Line-Up with 15 Returning
BBC News reported that five members of the Strictly Come Dancing professional line-up have left the show. Karen Hauer, the longest-serving female pro after 14 years, is among those departing along with Gorka Marquez, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas. Fifteen professionals will return for the series expected to begin in September.

BBC News reported that five members of Strictly Come Dancing's professional line-up have left the show. Karen Hauer has departed after 14 years on the program. She joined the show in 2012 and made the final with Mark Wright and Jamie Laing.
Karen Hauer announced her exit in an Instagram video in March. She said she had decided this is the right time for her to close this chapter and take on new projects. Karen Hauer said Strictly completely changed her life, not only as a performer and a teacher, but as a human being.
She said she had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people and brilliant celebrity partners who have become close friends and people she admires so much. Karen Hauer said she, Tess and Claudia could finally be ladies who lunch in the autumn. She has since been cast as a dance teacher in comedy play Stepping Out from August.
Gorka Marquez is also leaving Strictly Come Dancing after a decade. He has been a judge on the Spanish version of the show and met Gemma Atkinson on the 2019 Strictly Christmas special. Nadiya Bychkova is leaving the show.
She joined in 2017 and said in March that she is excited to have time to focus on new projects, and to spend more precious time with her beautiful daughter. Nadiya Bychkova said life feels full of possibilities. Luba Mushtuk is leaving Strictly Come Dancing.
She arrived on the show in 2018 and said it was now time for her to follow her dreams beyond the show, and she is excited for what the future holds. Michelle Tsiakkas is leaving the show. She joined in 2022 but did not have a celebrity partner last year.
