Sudanese Armed Forces Say They Destroyed 141 Combat Vehicles in Two Weeks
Sudan’s military reported gains across Darfur, Kordofan, Blue Nile and White Nile sectors between late May and mid-June 2026. The statement listed equipment losses inflicted on opposing forces and outlined continued operations.
gatestoneinstitute.orgThe Sudanese Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they destroyed 141 combat vehicles, several weapons depots, killed and injured dozens of hostile elements, and seized quantities of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment during operations conducted across four fronts over the past two weeks.
The statement, issued by the General Command of the Armed Forces, said the operations took place in the Darfur, Kordofan, Blue Nile, and White Nile sectors. It added that a hostile strategic drone was shot down in the airspace over Kenana city.
On the Darfur Front, the military said 29 militia combat vehicles were destroyed and dozens of rebel elements were killed. Several depots in Nyala were also destroyed, including two ammunition depots, two military equipment warehouses, and two drone ammunition depots, in addition to a major fuel depot used to support militia operations and supply lines.
On the Kordofan Front, forces destroyed 91 combat vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces militia and killed dozens of rebel fighters, according to the statement.
On the Blue Nile Front, the Armed Forces destroyed 21 combat vehicles belonging to the rebel militia and inflicted heavy losses in both personnel and equipment. The Sudanese Armed Forces stated that operations will continue until the militia is fully defeated and security and stability are restored across all parts of the country.
