Surrey Police Appeal for Information After Rape Outside Epsom Nightclub

Surrey Police reported a rape incident involving a woman in her 20s outside Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road in Epsom, Surrey. The attack took place between 2am and 4am on Saturday morning. The woman had left a nightclub on Spread Eagle Walk when several men followed and assaulted her near the church.

Detective Inspector Aine Matthews stated that the victim is receiving support from specialist officers. The investigation is in its early stages, with officers conducting enquiries to identify the suspects. Matthews noted that details about the suspects will be shared when available.

Officers are present in the area and have encouraged residents to approach them with any concerns. Police are seeking information from anyone in the vicinity between 2am and 4am who may have seen or spoken to a woman in her 20s in distress.
