A survey released this week showed Labor trailing both the Coalition and One Nation in the Victorian state election race. Advocacy groups said the planned NDIS reductions would move care responsibilities onto women.

ABC leadership changes The ABC managing director discussed staffing pressures after the director of news resigned last month. The managing director said live-news staff felt stretched because added services had spread resources more thinly. He added that the incoming news director had managed large teams and covered conflict zones during previous roles.

The managing director stated that further structural changes would be required to address workload issues.
