Target is recalling approximately 211,000 Cat & Jack Toddler Girls' Sequerah Sandals because decorative pearls on the straps can detach and create a choking hazard. The retailer and the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the action on July 16, 2026. The sandals feature two raffia straps with plastic pearls and gold buckles.
They were manufactured in Cambodia and sold at Target stores and on the company's website for about $22 from January through May 2026. The brand name appears on the sole and bottom. Target has received 23 reports of pearls falling off the sandals.
No injuries have been reported. The company recommends that customers stop using any recalled sandals and keep them away from children. Target is offering refunds for the recalled products at stores or by mail.
