Taylor Farms donated more than $2 million to conservative political groups in 2025, according to Federal Election Commission filings reported by Wired. The total included a $1 million contribution to MAGA Inc. and $1.1 million to other Republican super PACs.

The company had already given more than $1.6 million to conservative PACs from 2020 through the end of 2024, including $850,000 to AFP Action. Chairman and CEO Bruce Taylor personally contributed more than $900,000 to Republican PACs and candidates since 2020, with donations to senators John Cornyn of Texas and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee.

In early 2025 Taylor Farms hired lobbyists at Sidley Austin to work on food safety regulation and has spent $810,000 on such efforts since then.

Executives met with White House and FDA officials to discuss shortfalls in the agencies’ response to the cyclospora outbreak.
