Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the Toy Story 5 premiere on Tuesday, performing a song she wrote for the film and dueting with Randy Newman. The movie is scheduled for release on June 19, 2026.

Swift introduced Randy Newman, who composed the scores and many songs for the series. The two performed a duet of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” Newman’s hit from the first Toy Story film released in 1995. Earlier on the red carpet, Swift posed with Tom Hanks, Joan Cusack and other members of the voice cast. The event marked Swift’s first public performance tied to the franchise.
