Taylor Swift Wore Elizabeth Taylor Opal Jewelry Suite in Brooklyn
Taylor Swift appeared in Brooklyn wearing an opal jewelry suite previously owned by Elizabeth Taylor. The pieces were sold by Fox Estate Jewelry in 2025 for $125,000.
nypost.comTaylor Swift wore a full suite of opal jewelry once owned by Elizabeth Taylor while in Brooklyn on Saturday with Travis Kelce. The set included two bracelets, a ring, and matching chandelier earrings. Fox Estate Jewelry owner Adam Fox said the suite was designed by Darlene de Sedle and sold at Christie’s in 2011 for $6,000.
His company later sold it via 1stDibs in 2025 for $125,000 during the Christmas period.
Fox stated the buyer was a sports agent and described the sale as unusual because it occurred without negotiation or follow-up questions. He initially assumed the purchase was made by Kelce or someone on his team due to the buyer’s profession. After seeing photos of Swift wearing the complete set, Fox said the connection became clear.
He noted that Swift has a song referencing Elizabeth Taylor and called the transfer of the jewelry fitting. The pieces had not appeared publicly for more than a decade after the 2011 auction. Fox said he was glad the set went to someone who appreciates its history and quality.
