Team USA Takes Six Medals on Final Day of 2026 Pan American Gymnastics Championships

Team USA gymnasts secured six medals on the final day of the 2026 Pan American Championships, including gold medals for Claire Pease, Patrick Hoopes, and Yul Moldauer. U.S. performance that produced 17 medals overall at the event held June 18 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

That total was the highest among all delegations. Junior gymnasts accounted for most of the haul. The junior men’s team and the junior women’s team each captured gold on Thursday. Fourteen-year-old Amia Pugh-Banks won three gold medals in the all-around, vault, and floor exercise, the last ending in a tie.

Vivi Crain earned all-around silver and balance beam gold. Sydney Williams took uneven bars gold. Addalye VanGrinsven collected two silvers and two bronzes across all four events. On the men’s side, 18-year-old Maksim Kan won silver on pommel horse and silver on still rings.
