Tesla launched the six-seater long wheelbase Model Y L in the US on July 2, 2026. Forbes reported that the Model Y L is the largest and most expensive version of the Model Y and measures 7 inches longer than other variants. The Model Y L seats six adults in three rows and includes captain’s chairs in the second row.
It features electronic continuously variable shock absorbers, 18 speakers, seven USB-C ports, an 8-inch rear touchscreen, FM radio, and 19-inch Machina 2.0 wheels as standard equipment. All six exterior colors are offered at no extra charge. A tow hitch is also standard.
The vehicle includes 12 months of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and 12 months of Premium Connectivity. Forbes reported an estimated range of 325 miles for the Model Y L. Launch versions start at $61,990, according to Tesla’s website and Reuters reporting.
