Tesla Reports Record Q2 2026 Results While Planning Further Giga Berlin Expansion

Tesla filed the Giga Berlin management report for fiscal year 2025 on June 28, 2026, @SawyerMerritt reported. The document forecasts a significant increase in production volume at the facility for the 2026 financial year together with a corresponding rise in capacity utilization.

Giga Berlin currently supplies more than 30 markets and plans to open additional markets in the future, the report states.

It records a decision to expand battery cell manufacturing capacity from an initial target of 8 gigawatt-hours per year to 18 gigawatt-hours per year. Further investments in the three-digit million dollar range will bring total spending on cell manufacturing to nearly $1.4 billion, according to the filing cited by @SawyerMerritt.

Tesla separately announced that it will raise weekly vehicle output at Giga Berlin by another 20 percent to 7,500 units beginning in October 2026.

The step follows a prior 20 percent increase announced several months earlier. The two expansions together are projected to create 3,500 additional jobs. Tesla posted its best-ever second quarter in 2026 for both vehicle sales and energy deployments, @SawyerMerritt reported.
