Tesla vehicle registrations increased in Sweden, Denmark, Spain, and France during May compared with the same month last year. The broader European electrified-vehicle segment also expanded.
foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.comTesla registrations rose in May in Sweden, Denmark, Spain, and France, according to industry data reported by @DeItaone. Sweden recorded a 71 percent increase, Denmark a 136 percent increase, Spain a 113 percent increase, and France a 655 percent increase compared with May of the previous year.
Electrified vehicles accounted for more than two-thirds of new registrations across Europe in April, the ACEA reported, with the segment rising about 21 percent from the prior year. Growth occurred amid continued subsidies and elevated fuel prices. Despite the May gains, Tesla's share of the European market declined during 2025 amid increased competition from Chinese manufacturers and a smaller lineup of new models.
