Tesla Supercharger Site Maps Feature Launches in Canada

Tesla owners can now access the function at Supercharger locations across the country. The feature displays a detailed visual layout of each charging station on the vehicle's touchscreen. Drivers see the precise arrangement of stalls, available power levels and other site-specific details without needing to leave their vehicle.

This marks the official expansion of the mapping tool beyond its initial markets. The company previously introduced the capability in the United States before extending it northward. Owners in Canada reported the interface appearing on their vehicles over recent days.

The maps update in real time to reflect charger status and station configuration. The addition improves the charging experience by allowing drivers to assess site layout before arrival. It reduces uncertainty at unfamiliar locations and supports more efficient navigation to open stalls.

The visual maps show exact charger positions, cable lengths and power output ratings for each stall. Users can identify which chargers are occupied, out of service or operating at reduced capacity. The information appears automatically when a vehicle approaches a Supercharger site.

No additional software update is required once the feature has activated on the car. Tesla has not issued a formal announcement detailing the Canadian launch timeline or future expansion plans. The capability rolled out through a server-side update that progressively reached vehicles in the region.
