Tess Daly Posts Professional Photos One Week After She and Vernon Kay Announce Separation

Tess Daly returned to social media on Friday, sharing a series of glamorous photographs taken during filming for an undisclosed project. The 57-year-old Strictly Come Dancing presenter posed in an elegant black jumpsuit with sheer sleeves, her diamond engagement ring and platinum wedding band clearly visible in the images. Daly captioned the post "The glam before the go".

Claudia Winkleman and Motsi Mabuse each responded with heart emojis. The social media return came exactly one week after Daly and Vernon Kay announced they were ending their 25-year marriage. The couple released a joint statement confirming their separation.

"We remain great friends and, most fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority," they said. The pair described the decision as made "with a deep sense of care and respect for one another" and added it came "from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire of what is best for both of us".

Daly and Kay have daughters Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16.

They said no third parties were involved in the split and asked for privacy as they navigate the next stage of their lives. The couple first began dating in 2001. Vernon Kay proposed to Daly on Christmas Day in 2002, and they married in September 2003.

They were last seen together publicly in February when they co-hosted an episode of The One Show. The pair are still living under the same roof. GB News reported that after releasing the separation statement the couple toasted their futures with a glass of champagne together.
