Texans general manager Nick Caserio said the team had no plans to trade Collins.
He made the statement at the end of Day 2 of the draft after reports suggested otherwise.
Before the adjustment, Collins was scheduled to earn $20,875,005 in 2026 under a three-year, $72 million extension signed in 2024. 875 million.
