Texas Attorney General Paxton Spends Fourth of July in United Kingdom
Texas state Rep. James Talarico posted a video on X showing Attorney General Ken Paxton walking in London on the federal holiday. The post drew criticism from Texas Democrats over Paxton's travel with a woman identified as his alleged mistress.

Texas state Rep. James Talarico posted on X that Attorney General Ken Paxton spent the Fourth of July in the United Kingdom. The post included a video of Paxton walking in London with a woman in a green dress who turned to face the camera before walking away.
Washington Examiner reported that the woman is believed to be Tracy Duhon. Paxton and Duhon met in May 2024 at the Kentucky Derby while both were married. Texas state Sen. Angela Paxton filed for divorce last July citing Duhon.
The divorce has not been finalized. Paxton was seen boarding a flight to Iceland with Duhon before traveling to England. Talarico stated on X: “Americans celebrated 250 years of independence from Britain this weekend.
Talarico posed for a photo with country artist Willie Nelson, who wore a “Talarico for Texas” cap, on the holiday. ” Talarico and Paxton won their party primaries and will face each other in the November general election for U.S. Senate.
A June poll from the Texas Politics Project at the University of Texas at Austin showed Paxton leading Talarico by 1 percentage point, within the margin of error.
