nypost.comConnor Murphy, a 32-year-old Texas-born bodybuilder and looksmaxxing influencer, drowned Tuesday night in a lake in Samut Prakan province, Thailand, according to local reports cited by @Independent. Murphy had hired a driver to reach his luxury rental home but began behaving erratically, offering the driver money and rolling on the road.
When police arrived he ran from officers and jumped into the lake, where he swam until he tired and slipped underwater, witnesses told investigators.
Rescue divers recovered his body about 65 feet from the shore after a 30-minute search. The lake measured 32 feet deep. No signs of assault were reported. Investigators found the rental house, where Murphy had stayed with his 22-year-old girlfriend for three months, vandalized with furniture ruined and black and yellow paint smeared on walls and appliances.
A search of his car turned up two unused syringes and several white pills. Murphy’s girlfriend told police he had shown no unusual behavior beforehand and that she knew of no drug use. The U.S. Embassy in Thailand was notified of the death.
