Texas A&M Law School Rises to No. 22 as Fort Worth Campus Expands
Texas A&M University School of Law advanced from No. 46 in 2022 to No. 22 in 2026. Washington Examiner reported the school also received major donations and is opening an eight-story building this fall.

Texas A&M University School of Law rose from a national ranking of No. 46 in 2022 to No. 22 in 2026, Washington Examiner reported. 16 in the same period.
The school posted a 97.42 percent first-time pass rate on the July 2024 Texas Bar Exam and a 100 percent rate on the February 2026 exam. It recorded the highest July pass rate among Texas law schools in both 2023 and 2024.
The school accepted 634 students out of 5,240 recent applicants. Lawrence Solum, previously at the University of Virginia School of Law and the University of Illinois, will join the faculty in fall 2026. An eight-story Law and Education Building at the Fort Worth campus is scheduled to open in fall 2026.
Texas A&M acquired the site from Texas Wesleyan University in 2013, and the expansion will eventually include five buildings. The Texas A&M University System approved a five-year, $6.8 billion capital plan for fiscal years 2027 through 2031. Recent graduate Benjamin “Tate” Fehr, who applied when the school ranked No.
46, will begin a federal clerkship. The school hosts Texas Business Court judges and facilities. Carolyn Hoffmann and Matthew Hoffmann completed the Master of Legal Studies degree through remote options.
