Thames Valley Police Plan US Trip to Speak With Virginia Giuffre's Relatives in Andrew Inquiry

Thames Valley Police officers are scheduled to travel to the United States in the coming weeks to speak with Sky Roberts and Amanda Roberts. The pair are the brother and sister-in-law of Virginia Giuffre. The force is investigating Prince Andrew for potential sexual offenses.

Officers have already requested case files from the Giuffre investigation and are likely to speak with Andrew’s former protection officers. The planned meeting with Sky and Amanda Roberts will not be a formal interview because they are not considered direct witnesses. It is not clear whether Thames Valley Police have received permission from US authorities to conduct the interview.

Virginia Giuffre alleged she was made to have sex with Prince Andrew three times, starting when she was 17, on orders from Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Prince Andrew paid Virginia Giuffre between $14 million and $16 million in an out-of-court settlement in February 2022. Virginia Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025 at age 41.

Prince Andrew was arrested on his 66th birthday in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office after allegedly forwarding confidential trade documents to Jeffrey Epstein. In May, Prince Andrew was reported to be under investigation for potential sex crimes at royal residences, including Royal Lodge.

A woman alleged that Jeffrey Epstein sent her to have sex with Prince Andrew at Royal Lodge in 2010 when she was in her 20s.
