Third Round of July Social Security Payments Due on July 22
Retirees born on or after the 21st of a month will receive their July payments on July 22. The maximum benefit is $5,181 a month for those retiring at age 70. Earlier rounds went out on July 8 and July 15.

The third round of July Social Security payments will be issued on July 22 to retirees born on or after the 21st of a month, Washington Examiner reported. The first round went out on July 8 to those born on or before the 10th, and the second round went out on July 15 to those born between the 11th and 20th.
Citizens become eligible for benefits at age 62. A beneficiary retiring at the youngest eligible age could receive up to $2,969 per month, while a 70-year-old retiree could receive up to $5,181 per month, according to the Social Security Administration. Social Security is financed by a payroll tax paid by employers and employees.
