Thousands of Tickets for England-France World Cup Bronze Match Still Listed on FIFA Sites

The BBC reported that approximately 7,000 tickets remained listed on FIFA's sites for the World Cup bronze medal match between England and France as of Friday at 10:00 BST. The game is scheduled for Saturday at Miami Stadium with kickoff at 22:00 BST. Of those tickets, 1,246 were on general sale at prices of $865 and $1,125.

Another 5,864 appeared on FIFA's official resale platform, where the lowest category three seats started at the $455 face value plus the organization's 15 percent fee. Some higher-category tickets on resale were listed below their original prices. One category one ticket originally priced at $1,125 was available for $659.

Sunday's World Cup final was also not fully sold out. Thirty-two of the most expensive standard tickets stayed on general sale at prices ranging from $29,995 to $32,970. More than 1,000 additional tickets were listed on the resale platform, including several near face value plus FIFA's fee for seats originally sold at $7,380.

The highest-priced resale listing for the final reached $2 million plus a $300,000 FIFA fee. All resale prices are set by users and do not indicate completed transactions.
