Three new drugs will show U.S. prices set under Trump most-favored-nation deals

U.S. market in the coming months will provide the first public view of prices set under most-favored-nation deals President Trump reached with 17 drugmakers. The agreements require companies to launch new drugs in the United States at net prices roughly equal to those in other wealthy nations, though the precise terms remain secret.

The medicines are Baxfendy for hypertension from AstraZeneca, the insulin Awiqli from Novo Nordisk, and Veppanu, a cancer drug developed by Arvinas and Pfizer that is set to be licensed to Rigel Pharmaceuticals.

Veppanu are not yet available in other wealthy countries used as comparisons for reference pricing. U.S. launch prices for these two products without direct foreign benchmarks already in place.
