Tom Brady attempted to slap Logan Paul during a face-to-face encounter on stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Saturday, Fox News reported. New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns positioned himself between the two men before they were separated. The incident followed months of public remarks by Brady questioning whether Paul qualified as a real athlete.
Brady first made those comments during Super Bowl week and repeated similar views after the pair competed in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic. Paul posted on X that the confrontation occurred because he had been roasting Brady over the flag football result. He added that Brady tried to smack him and described the action as a poor example for children.
Brady responded by calling Paul a dork and stating he would try again the next time he saw the influencer. Brady also said Paul was not a real athlete because he competed in WWE rather than on the gridiron. On Thursday, Brady appeared on Cody Rhodes’ podcast and expressed interest in a potential WWE storyline, saying he had been waiting for an invitation from WWE president Nick Khan.
Brady told Fox News Digital in April 2025 that he might appear at WrestleMania 41.
