A Puck News report stated that Hardy arrived late to production during Season 2, offered frequent script notes, altered dialogue, and expressed dissatisfaction with the ensemble cast that included Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
Camera operator Mark Goellnicht described an incident on the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. m. call time, then confronted him about the delay. Goellnicht stated that Theron requested a producer remain with her for protection after the exchange. Theron later said she did not feel safe during the production.
Director John Hillcoat told Collider that Hardy and Shia LaBeouf fought on the set of the 2012 film Lawless and had to be restrained.
