The Topo Designs Rover Trail pack measures 22 liters and includes a top zipped compartment that opens to a drawstring main section. Inside the top compartment is a key clip and an additional zipped mesh sleeve. The main compartment features a J-shaped zipper along the side, allowing access to items near the bottom without unpacking the top section.

Side pockets contain spandex panels sized for water bottles or cans. A lightly padded waist belt can be tucked under a foam back panel when not in use. The same foam panel can serve as a laptop or tablet sleeve accessed by a side zipper.
