TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanné to Appear Before French National Assembly Finance Committee on June 17
Patrick Pouyanné will appear before the Assemblée Nationale's finance committee on June 17 at 10:00 a.m. following the company's payment of zero euros in corporate tax in 2025 and a 51 percent surge in first-quarter profits to $5.8 billion. M. Eric Coquerel, president of the committee and a member of the hard-left La France Insoumise party, announced the hearing on Tuesday, May 12. Coquerel posted on X that he decided to call Patrick Pouyanné to appear before the Finance Committee.
