Production rose 3.4 percent to 933,685 units during the same period. The company maintained factory operations despite shipping disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz. The company has kept output higher than some other carmakers facing similar route interruptions. A prolonged disruption could affect parts, materials, and energy supplies tied to Gulf routes.
