President Trump examined seating samples for the Kennedy Center renovation during a visit earlier this year, Sen. Lindsey Graham said. Graham tried several chairs at Trump’s request and reported that the president had not yet selected a final design.
Trump has described additional construction plans in recent public appearances. These include a new ballroom at the White House, resurfacing of the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall, and a 250-foot arch near the Lincoln Memorial. The administration is also repairing fountains in various parts of the city.
