Trump-Endorsed Candidates Compete in Georgia and Alabama GOP Runoffs
Voters in Georgia and Alabama decide Republican nominations for Senate and governor on Tuesday. President Donald Trump endorsed candidates in both states' Senate races and Georgia's gubernatorial contest.

Mike Collins faces former University of Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley for the Senate nomination. President Donald Trump endorsed Collins over the weekend.
Collins told Fox News Digital that the endorsement shows Trump believes the campaign knows how to win. Dooley said the endorsement does not change his approach and that he is focused on securing support from Georgia voters. The winner will face Democratic Sen. Republicans have identified Ossoff as a top target.
Georgia Governor Race Lt. Gov.
Burt Jones, backed by Trump last year, competes against businessman Rick Jackson for the gubernatorial nomination. Gov. Brian Kemp endorsed Jones on Sunday. Jackson has spent more than $100 million of his own funds on the campaign. The winner will face former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms in the general election.
Alabama Senate Race In Alabama, Trump-backed Lt. Gov.
Pamela Evette faces state Attorney General Alan Wilson for the Senate nomination. Sen. Ted Cruz endorsed Wilson on Friday.
