He said the agreement includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz and beginning nuclear negotiations.

“Discussions and final points were approved by the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others,” he said.

Iran submitted the final draft of the prospective agreement to Qatari mediators on the evening of June 10, 2026. The text was completed and finalized that evening, according to a regional source familiar with Iranian leadership. Trump told The New York Post that the U.S.-Tehran deal is “all wrapped up.”

An in-person signing ceremony will occur at a time and place to be announced shortly. The U.S. naval blockade of Iranian ports will remain in full force until the transaction is finalized.

U.S. forces conducted strikes on Iran’s coasts overnight from June 10 to June 11, 2026, targeting missile and radar systems. The strikes lasted approximately four hours and ended shortly before dawn, according to U.S. Central Command. They came in retaliation for Iran downing an American Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz on June 8, 2026.

Trump had stated the U.S. would hit Iran “VERY HARD TONIGHT” and take over Kharg Island. He later told Fox News his preference has always been to take the island. Kharg Island produces roughly 90% of Iran’s crude oil. Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir has been engaged in shuttle diplomacy between Tehran and Washington.
