Trump Says Biden Showed No Cognitive Change in 2024 Meetings
President Trump stated Thursday he noticed no signs of cognitive decline in former President Biden during their meetings last year. Former first lady Jill Biden separately suggested her husband showed signs of slowing and may have suffered a stroke before the June debate.
Washington ExaminerTrump described Biden as "the same guy I've been watching for a long time" and added that Biden "was fine as far as I was concerned" at their November 2024 meeting.
Trump also addressed the June 2024 debate, saying Biden "did not have a good night" while noting his own performance drew less attention. She also said she believed Biden might have suffered a stroke during the debate.
“No, not really. He questioned whether Biden's debate performance resulted from choking or from not having it that night.”
