President Trump held a Cabinet meeting at the White House on Wednesday after moving the session from Camp David because of forecast showers and thunderstorms. The president said talks with Iran are proceeding "nicely" but warned that attacks may continue if a deal is not reached.

" "So far, they haven't gotten there, we're not satisfied with it, but we will be," Trump stated. "Either that or we'll have to just finish the job. He said the United States would watch over the waterway and rejected any plan for Iran and Oman to manage it.

"Nobody's going to control it," he said. "We'll watch over it. But nobody's going to control it. It's international waters. And Oman will behave just like everybody else or we'll have to blow them out. They understand that. He dismissed that strategy, stating the American people understand Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

"They thought they were going to out wait me, you know," Trump said. "'We'll out wait him. ' I don't care about the midterms. Look what happened last night. Iran called the action a "grave violation" of the fragile ceasefire.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi

Gabbard attended the meeting. Trump thanked her and described her findings as "pretty good." The Cabinet session had originally been scheduled for Camp David but was relocated after Trump posted on Truth Social that weather conditions made the change necessary.
