The T1 Phone 8002 gold version reached its recipient 12 months, 16 days, 21 hours, and 54 minutes after the initial announcement from Trump Mobile. Three units were shipped to an incorrect address despite payment for two. The box contained a free Trump Mobile SIM card, an A4 guide printed on standard office paper, a 33W charger, a braided USB-C cable, and a small instruction booklet.
The phone installed apps from a Google backup and displayed a February Android security patch.
Device condition and setup The gold plastic rear panel developed a tacky feel and attracted dust and fingerprints within hours. A small scratch appeared in one corner before the device left its packaging. Fingerprint recognition functioned during initial tests. The phone placed calls successfully but did not connect to LTE or 5G networks when a British SIM card was inserted.
