President Donald Trump appeared as a guest on second lady Usha Vance’s podcast “Story Time with the Second Lady” on Friday, Washington Examiner reported. He read a children’s book titled Presidents Play during the episode released ahead of America’s 250th birthday on Saturday. Trump discussed former President William Howard Taft’s size while reading the book.
“He was a large man, very large,” Trump said. “He loved baseball. He would go to baseball games. [He] loved the hot dogs at the baseball games. He was our heaviest president, and I have to be careful because I don’t want to supersede his record.
Taft, the 27th president, stood nearly 6 feet tall and weighed around 300 pounds, according to the Supreme Court of Ohio. Trump is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 238 pounds according to his May 2026 physical, Washington Examiner reported. ” He also commented on former President Barack Obama, saying he tends to doubt Obama was a good basketball player and noting his preference for golf.
The White House denied a recent STAT News report that speculated a 79-year-old man given an experimental weight loss drug from Eli Lilly was Trump.
