Trump wrote that Greenwood will introduce him with "God Bless the U.S.A." and that Macchio will perform "Nessun Dorma," "Hallelujah," "Ave Maria," and "God Bless America." The post also noted that military bands will perform.
250 Last month, Freedom 250, a public-private partnership established by the Trump administration, announced a lineup for a Great American State Fair event on the National Mall. Several artists later withdrew, including Morris Day, Young MC, Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, The Commodores, and Milli Vanilli.
Vanilla Ice has indicated plans to perform, while Flo Rida and C+C Music Factory have not commented. Trump stated that the rally will replace the concert series after the withdrawals. A decade ago, Congress established the bipartisan America 250 commission to mark the semiquincentennial.
