Trump threatens strikes on Iranian bridges and power plants unless talks resume

President Trump said the U.S. will bomb Iranian power plants and bridges next week if Iran does not negotiate a deal. "We are going to knock out all of their power plants, we are going to knock out all of their bridges," he stated in the interview.

Trump made the remarks to Trey Yingst on Fox News.

He said the U.S. will hit Iran again tomorrow night and that next week it gets really bad for them. "Will save energy targets for last," Trump added. The president stated that the U.S. is being careful with the civilian population. He said strikes will continue until he determines they are enough.

Earlier this week Trump said the U.S. will announce oil partnerships with Iraq. He noted that Iraq holds tremendous oil reserves and potential wealth. State of the Union: No vessels were recorded transiting through the U.S.-coordinated Hormuz channel on Tuesday, with 21 transits through the Iranian channel.
