Trump Says U.S. Plans to Seize Iran's Kharg Island and Strike Again

President Trump stated on June 11 that the United States will strike Iran again that night and will seize Kharg Island and other Iranian oil facilities in the near future. He posted on Truth Social that Iran's Navy, Air Force, radar, anti-aircraft systems and most offensive capability are gone. Kharg Island is an outcrop off Iran's coast that handles 90 percent of the country's oil exports.

The seizure would occur at some point in the not too distant future. The announcement follows renewed exchanges of strikes between the United States and Iran earlier in the week. The United States conducted strikes on Iran after an American helicopter was downed in the region on Monday.

Oil prices turned higher after the post. U.S. military will be attacking Iran very hard. U.S. hit Iran hard on June 9 and would hit Iran again hard on June 10.

President Trump stated on June 10 that Iran shot down an American military helicopter. U.S. Army AH-64 Apache helicopter went down near the coast of Oman while patrolling regional waters on Monday.

Two crew members aboard the downed helicopter were rescued by American forces within two hours. U.S. forces completed self-defense strikes against Iran at President Trump's orders in response to the helicopter downing.

U.S. official stated that 20 targets inside Iran were hit, including air defense systems, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. And Iran are really close to a deal. He stated that Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.
