President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Mount Rushmore on Friday to begin the weekend marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, France 24 reported. A rival celebration is also planned in Los Angeles during the same weekend. The concert there is hosted by Queen Latifah and features performances by Chris Stapleton and The Smashing Pumpkins, according to France 24 correspondent Rochelle Ferguson-Bouyahi.
The two events mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.
