TSMC to Raise Chip Production Prices Up to 10 Percent in 2027 After Client Negotiations
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. will increase prices for advanced and mature chip services by 5 to 10 percent starting next year. The company has finished negotiations with clients and may charge up to 15 percent more on orders exceeding forecasts.

TSMC plans to raise prices for both advanced and mature chip production services by up to 10 percent in 2027. The increases will range between 5 percent and 10 percent. The company has already completed negotiations with its clients on the adjustments.
It may also apply a premium of as much as 15 percent on orders that exceed initial forecasts. TSMC declined to comment on the price changes. The company stated that it continues to work closely with customers to sell the value of its services.
TSMC recently said it may build 12 Arizona chip plants in total.
