" He added that the timing coincided with her husband's illness but described her position as already uncertain. An unnamed figure close to the administration told The Times that speculation of a political removal was circulating in Washington. Gabbard was not included in several recent national security meetings, including planning for a raid on Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.
" Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, an ally of Gabbard, also left the Office of the Director of National Intelligence recently to focus on family matters.
