Turkey conducted the Efes 2026 military exercise last week near Izmir. The drill brought together forces from 50 countries and included both daytime and nighttime operations. Aircraft and artillery units coordinated strikes on multiple targets during the exercise. Submarines, fast attack craft, and unmanned surface vessels conducted live-fire demonstrations.

Dome air defense system and the Korkut very short range air defense system were shown in operation. Landing docks deployed marine infantry troops and vehicles onto the beach. Flares were released to simulate countermeasures against enemy forces during the night portion of the drill.
