Turkish officials announce plan to expand naval fleet by nearly 20 percent

Turkish officials announced plans to expand the country's naval fleet by nearly 20 percent through ongoing warship construction. The statement said more than 50 warships are currently under construction. Over 15 of those vessels are intended for export to friendly and allied nations.
