Twins and Phillies to Play Field of Dreams Game on August 13

The Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies will play at the Field of Dreams park in Dyersville, Iowa, on August 13, with Minnesota wearing all-white uniforms featuring navy blue pinstripes and Philadelphia in gray. ESPN reported the teams unveiled the special throwback uniforms for the third edition of Major League Baseball's game at the venue.

The wordmark across the front of the Twins jersey spells "Twins" in navy blue with red trim, and the tail of the "s" curves to underline the name.

A sleeve patch displays the "Minnie and Paul" logo, which appeared on the club's home uniforms from 1961 to 1986 and road uniforms from 1961 to 1971 and 1973 to 1986. The same logo appears as a 46-foot display above center field at Target Field. Philadelphia's uniforms are gray with a slanted red "Phillies" wordmark that includes a navy outline.

The sleeve patch replicates the logo worn in 1939, when the league marked what was then believed to be baseball's centennial anniversary based on the disputed claim that Abner Doubleday invented the game that year. The Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees 9-8 in the 2021 game at the park. The Chicago Cubs defeated the Cincinnati Reds 4-2 in the 2022 game.

ESPN reported the Field of Dreams park has undergone renovations and expansion since the 2022 contest.
