Two Men Charged With Murder After Body Found in Suitcase in Kent Woods

Two men have been charged with murder after a man's body was found inside a suitcase in woods in Borstal, Kent, BBC News reported. Joshua Miller, 32, of Kingfisher Court, Wandsworth, was charged with murder and preventing an unlawful burial. Jamie Cooper, 27, of the same address, was charged with preventing an unlawful burial.

The Metropolitan Police said the victim and the two men were known to each other. Officers were called to a block of flats on Kingfisher Court, off Queensmere Road in Wandsworth, at 22:55 BST on Thursday. No one was present when they arrived, but a search led police to conclude someone had been harmed there, triggering an investigation.

On Friday, officers searched a wooded area in Borstal where the body was recovered. Formal identification has not taken place, though police believe they know the victim's identity and have informed his next of kin, who are receiving support from specialist officers. Both men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday.
