Two Men Killed in Separate Bronx Attacks Minutes Apart
A 34-year-old man was shot and killed near Yankee Stadium on Sunday night. Minutes later, a 29-year-old man was stabbed to death in another Bronx neighborhood.

Jones was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He lived in NYCHA Carver Houses in East Harlem but was known to visit the area, according to a local deli worker who saw him hours earlier.

Police said the motive in both cases remained under investigation and no arrests had been made by late Monday afternoon.
A 49-year-old resident near the first shooting expressed concern about rising violence as temperatures increase. Felony crime in the Bronx is down about 11 percent this year, according to the latest NYPD data. The department split the borough into two patrol areas last week, adding nearly 200 officers.
