M. Sunday in front of an apartment building on East 161 Street near Courtlandt Avenue in the Concourse Village section of the Bronx, police said. Jones was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He lived in NYCHA Carver Houses in East Harlem but was known to visit the area, according to a local deli worker who saw him hours earlier.
