Two Navy Jets Collide Midair at Idaho Air Show
Two U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler jets collided during an aerial demonstration at Mountain Home Air Force Base on Sunday. All four crew members ejected safely and the air show was immediately canceled.
France 24U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler jets collided in midair Sunday afternoon during the Gunfighter Skies Air Show at Mountain Home Air Force Base outside Boise, Idaho. m. MDT roughly two miles northwest of the base while the crews performed an aerial demonstration. A Navy spokesperson said all four air crew members successfully ejected and parachuted to safety.
Crew Condition and Immediate Response Cmdr.
U.S. Pacific Fleet, said the four aviators were in stable condition after the incident. The Mountain Home Air Force Base Gunfighters also reported the crew members were medically evaluated following the ejection. Col. David R. Gunter, wing commander of the 366th Fighter Wing, said the base was thankful that everyone involved remained safe.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. The jets were assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 129 based at Whidbey Island, Washington.
